I inhale and the Sacred lights up within me
I glow with a gentle amber hue
Your Presence radiates within
Everything is quiet, but the cerebral part of me
How can this much quiet and chatter reside together?
I exhale the noise
I have wings, but I stand still as Your Spirit broods over me
I am haunted by the vague and uncertain
I inhale hoping for something familiar
I hold my breath, aware of Your Spirit within
I am full of self and depleted at the same time
I exhale releasing control
You feed me from the marrow of my own bones
You release heaven’s rivers to quench my thirsty body
I am nourished
Again, I breathe
My body reminds me that I am alive
My senses expect something wonder-filled
I inhale; fiery passion blazes
I exhale; peaceful waters flow
I breathe passion and peace
I breathe for I’ve been breathed into
I glow from the Sacred within
