White Horse’s Spirit

People who embody White Horse’s Spirit are the wise ones. They sense a connection between nature and their own life experiences and are grounded in the fact that Mother Earth continues to recreate herself, by breathing through the life-death-rebirth cycles.

These wise ones face their fears with confidence, knowing that growth rarely occurs without upsets. Though they do the necessary planning to make life run more smoothly, their dependence is on something deeper.

Individuals who embrace the spirit of White Horse remain sure-footed in the face of fear. When threatened, they refrain from overthinking, lashing out or assigning blame.

In paying attention to Life’s lessons, they have developed an appreciation for both work and play. They have learned the value of spending long stretches of time in the dark void, as well as enjoying moments of vibrant illumination. In fact, they’ve found light in the dark and also seen darkness in the light.

A mark of these wise ones is their ability to not only hold paradoxes, but to use the tension in dualities as a catalyst for positive change. Whether or not they feel certain of something, they know they can rely on the Sacred within, as they live into their dreams of what the world can be.

Life has taught these wise ones that all will be well. It is not naïveté. They’ve realized that over attachment causes suffering. Though they support people in pain, they refrain from carrying burdens that are not theirs to carry, knowing that in the long run, this will hinder the hurting one’s growth. Over time, they’ve learned how to detach from personal dramas, while still caring deeply.

We do not magically become wise ones with age. If, however, we embrace White Horse’s Spirit, by living into all that Love is teaching us, we can hope. Whether facing rejection, betrayal or simply being the target of another’s suffering, there are lessons waiting to be learned. And should we choose to fully face our own shortcomings, projections, denials, etc., maybe we will be able to recreate ourselves, by giving pressure-filled situations time to breathe.
