Sacred Law

Could Love be the never changing Sacred Law that rules your soul? If so, how are you doing with the giving and receiving of love?

“No bird can fly without opening its wings,
and no one can love without exposing their heart.”
The Book of Awakening, by Mark Nepo

Being whole means being real. Would you live differently if you believed that everything in your life was there to make you whole?there to encourage you to persevere through, to let go, to be brave, to humble yourself, to exercise integrity, etc.

Contrary to Human Law, Sacred Law remains the same. What if you could deepen your faith to a place of seeing Love flowing through every circumstance?

What would that kind of trust look like? And what changes would it prompt you to make?

Are you able to offer respect to the people with whom you disagree? How about being truthful, in spite of what it might cost you?

Would you risk losing a position of authority to share wisdom that goes against popular opinion, or challenge a relationship in order to honor the other?

Of course, be discerning with whom to share. That said, if you are committed to transformation, count on relationships to teach you how to love.

Once you see negative experiences as invitations to deconstruct the harsher parts of your ego, other becomes a truthful friend. Situations may offer truths you do not want to hear, but truths, nonetheless.

Crow caws: Natural Law requires Earth to balance herself out. At times it is a violent process. Likewise, Sacred Law calls you to strip away all but love.

Pause to feel your reaction to that aggravating person. Are you able to let the emotion teach you? It isn’t easy.

Connecting to the Sacred within, before engaging in everyday reality, is the best way I’ve found to bring laughter, joy and genuine meaning into all the world’s brokenness. What if Sacred Law makes us whole by asking us to trust The Way of Love?
